About Us

Nurse CE Hub is a continuing education platform developed by Blue Oak HR, built on the legacy of a dedicated team of nursing educators who have been shaping California’s nursing workforce.

Our roots go back to 1984, when Lidia Ahumada, RN, MPH became one of the earliest approved Continuing Education Providers under the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #1439). In 2004, she became a founding board member of Cornerstone College of Science & Technology, and the BRN approved transferring Provider #1439 under the institution’s name. Cornerstone College continued to operate under that same provider number with no disciplinary history and a reputation for educational excellence until Ms. Ahumada’s passing.

Originally operating under the name CNERGI, Inc., with Cornerstone College as its subsidiary, the organization has since evolved into Blue Oak HR, carrying forward its longstanding commitment to quality education and professional development in healthcare.

Today, Nurse CE Hub is the next step in that journey—a modern, accessible platform offering evidence-based continuing education courses for today’s nurses. Nurse CE Hub is currently in the process of acquiring a new Provider Number from the California Board of Registered Nursing and remains committed to upholding the highest standards of continuing education for the nursing profession.
